Pennsylvania Veterans Museum
The Pennsylvania Veterans Museum opened three years ago in Media, PA, with the goal of honoring U.S. veterans and educating the public about their experiences and sacrifices made during wartime. Highlights include life-sized dioramas of the D-Day invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge, an interactive kiosk about the Tuskegee Airmen, and opportunities to explore how women and children helped during times of war. The annual Veterans Day Parade will take place in Media, PA on Tuesday, November 11, 11:30am.

The 45th Annual Delaware Antiques Show is November 7-9, featuring more than 60 dealers of American furniture and decorative accessories at the Chase Center on the Riverfront, 800 S. Madison Street, Wilmington, DE.

The annual First Person Festival of Memoir and Documentary Art is November 11-16, the only festival dedicated to presenting works of art based on real-life experiences, with events held at the Painted Bride Art Center, 230 Vine Street, Old City, Philadelphia.

Historic Strawberry Mansion hosts a jewelry and art exhibition and sale of pieces by 25 local and regional artists November 7-9 as a fundraiser for the museum in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

The National Constitution Center observes Veteran's Day with activities exploring our nation's service history from 11am-3pm, November 11, including a wreath laying ceremony, on Independence Mall in Philadelphia.

Art Sanctuary's 10th anniversary gala is November 14, 6:30pm, at Girard College, 2101 South College Avenue, Philadelphia, featuring an original music piece commemorating the life and work of Father Paul M. Washington, a performance by The Roots and more.
