Time is valuable and your help is invaluable!

Volunteers from throughout the greater Delaware Valley give generously of their time to help support WHYY in a variety of functions, including during on-air membership campaigns, with mailings and office support, lead tours, at special events, and so much more. Whether you're retired, a stay at home parent, just out of college, in between jobs, or an administrator in a corporate setting, it doesn’t matter if you have just a few hours each week to volunteer at WHYY or 20 hours per week, you’ll find your time spent here both rewarding and of great value to WHYY.

Join our growing pool of dedicated volunteers and see how your help can make a difference! To become a WHYY volunteer, contact Nadine Vassallo at nvassallo@whyy.org or (215) 351-1261 or Sign up today »

WHYY Membership Campaigns

You or your company can be one of the friendly faces seen answering phones on TV12 membership drives or you can volunteer during 91FM membership drives. Volunteers answer phones when supporters of WHYY call in to make their contribution to WHYY and provide needed support to complete pledge transactions. It’s a great way to show support for WHYY, meet new people, as well as great fun for friends and community organizations.

Upcoming membership drives:

  • TV12 On Air Membership Drive: Sept 6 - 14
  • 91FM On Air Membership Drive: Oct. 15 – 24
  • TV12 On Air Membership Drive: Nov. 29 - Dec. 14

WHYY Tours

Do you like leading tours? Would you or your organization like to come in for a behind the scenes look at how the “magic” of radio and tv happen?

WHYY Office Support

There’s much work to be done on a daily basis at a busy non-profit like WHYY and your special skills could be a unique asset in a busy environment.

WHYY Events

WHYY holds many events each year both for members and the general public at WHYY and in the community. Volunteers are needed to assist with check-in or staffing an information table.
